Anyone know the processing timescale for using "Manage Return Templates" to exempt products from "Prepaid Label Exemption"

hi

trying to exempt some high value items from "Prepaid Label Exemption" using the Amazon template. I've never done this before, i downloaded the template, filled in the 3 columns (first column was confusing as it wants the SKU, not ASIN) so anyway entered the store inventory SKU's (not ASIN) and uploaded the template from the same page in "Manage Return Templates" menu, but nothing has happened.

When i download a status report, nothing shows, just a blank file (so far its only been several hours) what is the processing time scale for these reports for a dozen listings?

Does this site feature even work?

Hello! @Seller_vNGUliyBfm8re

This is Roberto. The processing time for this if done correctly should be around 4 hours, keep in mind that the requests needs to be validated against the ASIN price and item condition across Amazon and the exemption reason code HIGH_PRICE (where item price is greater than GBP 100) to ensure that it is rightly used.

If it takes longer than that, it could be that the template is being uploaded incorrectly. Please make sure you are doing the following:

  • Once you have completed the PrepaidExemptions tab in the template, ensure that no Excel filters are applied, and save the template. Save as an Excel workbook file in an accessible location on your computer. This will allow you to make changes after uploading the template.
  • Save the template as a tab delimited (*.txt) file in order to upload the file. Ensure that PrepaidExemptions is the tab displayed before you save.

If this is still not working, I would encourage you to connect with our Seller Support team for advice. Let me know if you have follow-up questions.
