Packgroup reimbursements
Hello all
Is anyone aware how I can see any savings from using packgroups when sending products to sell FBA?
Although only estimations, the potential savings made by using packgroups can impact margins substantially. Our understanding is savings are made on fee's, rather than a direct cash insentive.
If anyone knows how to check this to undertand whether the savings are worth it (or even applied atall) please let me know.
Thanks

Hello @Seller_AeguohPVBc41I,
When creating a new shipment, you will see options in Step 1b of the "Send to Amazon" workflow. Recommended packing is only available when you pack in small parcel deliveries (not LTL/FTL) with each parcel weighing less than 15 kg.
After the fact, you can view the details of the incentives you have earned, including the total amount accrued and your remaining balance, in the "Track your savings" tile in Seller Central. The incentive will then be applied as a discount to your future order fulfillment fees, up to the maximum fee for a given order.

The track your saving does not work currently. Seller Support are giving different answers on when it will be fixed.
These are the replies received that I am aware of.
"There is no problem"
"21st July,
"26th July"
"mid July"
Currently you can see a saving has been applied by looking at Transaction View on the payments dashboard. Once the shipment closes then the saving is calculated and transactions start having zero FBA fees. There is no way to tell if they have given you the correct amount.
Some things to be aware of.
1) If they make a mistake receipting the items (they often do) they sometimes give you zero savings for the entire shipment.
2) If items get receipted after the shipment has closed then they no saving will be made for them. This often happens to me when sending stuff to the EU.
3) The was a bug in the process. After packing and uploading all the box information it says there is an error and a product needs to be removed. It does not say which product. The only solution here is to start the whole process again but this means the pack groups will change and you will need to repack everything. They told me this problem has been fixed but I am not confident they understood the issue in the first place.
4) Seller Support are totally unaware of the scheme and it is even more pointless writing to them than normal.
I am on the point of giving up with it. The whole thing is a shambles.
