Amazon Banned My Perfect Seller Account Due to a 15 year old Account that I didn't know even existed...

I've been selling on Amazon for over 8 months and got my account banned a month ago due to a seller account that I had opened on my main buying account over 15 years ago when I was trying to sell some college textbooks. I never made a sale on it or even logged into that seller account in 15 years. They banned that old account which doesn't even have any information matching me anymore due to me leaving negative feedback on sellers who scammed me (I got sent a blanket instead of a Meta Quest 3, got sent a foot brace instead of multiple gaming PCs), sent me fake shipping/tracking, canceling orders, etc. They claimed that I was trying to influence other sellers when I don't even sell any of the same products and the feedback was for legitimate reasons. They closed that 15 year old seller account and linked it to my perfectly healthy new account where I have not had any issues and have perfect health.

I've been told that I have to get that old 15 year account reactivated in order to get my new one back and I've been trying for a month with appeals after appeals. I just keep getting the same generic "not enough information" rejection email. I tried calling in and the woman on the phone just kept telling me that I should have never left feedback in the first place for any of my scammed orders (which makes no sense). It seems like Amazon does more to keep these scam sellers in place and rather waste time deactivating legitimate sellers trying to make a living without any room for error.

I'm trying my hardest to get my account back. Any advice? This is my livelihood and Amazon has withheld all my funds as well. I'm just looking for any useful advice possible.

As you've advised you one had an account 15 years ago where you had posted negative feedback on another seller. Since this is a direct violation of our code of conduct, and as you noted the account was deactivated. Although this occurred 15 years ago, we have now identified and associated your old account identifying another violation of our code of conduct policy, specifically the multiple account policy which states if you have more than one account, all need to be in good standing.

This is 100% correct, the only path to reactivation in this situation is to ensure the 15 year old account has been reinstated. The primary concern with this, is it will only be eligible for reactivation if you can show proof that you never posted that feedback. This is a dispute only situation were we cannot accept any form of appeal or explanation. If we do not receive proof that the original deactivation was in error, this store will remain deactivated.
