Report violation gets INSTANT rejection
@Manny_Amazon or another mod please help.
You had a nice post a while back: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/91fc52b8-38ef-4d60-ae48-d11bdea89cf6 about reporting violations.
When I report violations using Report Abuse (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/abuse-submission/form/different-product-received), I get instant... I mean instant response by email "Thank you for your report of a suspected policy violation. We cannot take action on the report as no violation has been identified on the reported xxxxxxx"
Never have I seen a response from Amazon so fast, it is as if it is recieved before I finish the click to report.
In your post, you mention that one of the violations that can be reported is:
The product received is different than the product on the detail page - Report products for which a different product is sold than what is represented on the detail page. These include:
* Different version, model or product
Well, that is exactly what I reported. The seller is offering the EU version on a detail page that is for the US version. I made a test order and even took photos, and provided the name and ID of the seller. The product is even in the FC if Amazon wants to look for themselves.
It is disheartening to bo encouraged to report, but then it is INSTANTLY rejected, to the point where it is obvious my report was not even looked at.
Any advice?

I wanted to reach out to you to see if you still required assistance with reporting a violation?
Did you get a CASE ID or Complaint ID number by chance after submitting the report? If yes, please share that information with us.
Also, besides using the Report abuse tool, you can also report directly from the Detail Page:
First on the detail page itself you can selection the option, 'Report an issue with this product or seller' and when it asks, 'What is wrong with this page?' you can select the option, "Parts of this Page Don't Match" . The next prompt will ask you to select the information that doesn't match and then ask for you to share your feedback in the "comments" bucket. Please be as detailed as possible such as sharing links to the manufacture's home page etc...

Apologies that it took so long to respond. I have gone ahead and escalated all the cases you have provided me with regarding a seller that may be selling EU intended merchandise in the US.
