A-Z claim advice please
Hi all im guessing i know the answer people will suggest which is just to give up. but here goes.
So customer buys an item. within a few days i have 5 star feedback from them. It mentions the fact that part of the item packaging was newspaper and mentions they nearly cut the item when opening the parcel.
Few days later i get a message from the customer saying he has not received the item. before i get a chance to reply i get another message which said something along the lines of.
“i guess you will want me to wait longer, how long christmas next year, how long should i wait i want my item”
Anyhow so i replied saying that they had already received my item and had left me feedback.
They suddenly turned nice and said they had ordered similar products from different sellers and thought the one from myself had not arrived.
I again pointed out the feedback.
and they then replied saying yes they indeed did have the item.
So all fine i thought.
2 months go by…
I get an email about an A-Z claim which of course is auto granted in there favour before i even know a case has been opened.
the customers comments on the A-Z claim are…
“Refund please it was bough5 for today n it’s not cold waited long enough”
I appealed and have heard nothing.
The customer clearly admits they had got the item in my messages
They have left me 5* feedback.
Yet have then been granted a refund for it not arriving.
it was only a £12 item so wasnt sent tracked.
thoughts welcome

Hello @apollo0681 ,
This is Ash from Amazon, and would assist you with your questions above.
From the post above, I understand that you need help with A-Z claims.
In the current situation , you can file a Safe-T claim.
The Seller Assurance for e-Commerce Transactions (SAFE-T) process allows you to file a claim for reimbursement when Amazon manual payment is required for your order.
At Amazon’s sole discretion, you may be issued a reimbursement in cases where Amazon determines that you were not at fault.
Please click here to learn more on Safe-T claims.
If you have further questions, please keep us posted. The forums community and I, are here to assist you with your concerns.
Regards,
Ash

There is some confusion regarding Safe-T claims, and if they are only applicable for SFP orders.
Please can someone confirm if this is the case or if available for all sellers and non-SFP orders.
Thanks.
