Products not showing on searches

Hi, we are attempting to sell 3D printed items, this is a trial shop, we have put for sale around 10 simple basic products like home decor using FBA to test the market. The items are for sale for more than a month, we can't find any using the amazon search tools, not even when you nearly replicate the whole title. During a basic search, the Amazon algorithm shows items that have much less relation to the search request than with our item title and purpose, basically the search is suppressing our products for some reason.

Key points:

• During basic searches, the items can’t be found on the search results pages.

• Very likely the products are never seen by any possible buyer.

• 1 whole month has passed with zero income, and the way things are set it is likely that we will never sell anything, however we will have to pay FBA storage.

• The titles and descriptions were made professionally and there is not much different from other similar items that show well in searches, except pictures.

Any idea about what is going on?

Can you post an example ASIN so we can take a look?

First thing that comes to mind is there may be a browse node issue.

Second thing is whether you're searching with your location set within the delivery zone for FBA. If you're outside locations it ships to, e.g based in Europe but selling to UK only, then your product listing won't show up in searches.

Everything that Postees1 said, plus I'd put that through Vine. You should be able to get 2 free vine reviews which will help with rank.

I would suggest more images, it's not totally clear how big this is in real life, a real photo would be useful. 5 or 6 would be even better.

Could go one step further with a video showing how easy it is to stick on or hang.

I'd possibly rewrite your bullet points also, you can just use chatgpt if this is a struggle, something along the lines of: Write 5 sentences in bullet point format for a Home Sign Label Hanging Tag in red (add more info if required) and watch it go to work for you with lots of kw rich content.

Your description is a bit on the small side also.

Make sure your kws have been added too, no repeats, you can also use chatgpt for kw ideas.

We have exactly the same. This is a reoccurring problem. Some products do not even show in a search if you search with the correct brand name.

Thank you so much for you interest in the topic.

We took notice of the suggested improvements, we may well try them out. Never the less, the underlining issue remains, the items are lost on the system, and a better title or description would help a better product listing position, however we didn't get that far, the products don't even score in a search to begin with.

It is clear that Amazon doesn't want to sell these products, perhaps 3D made products in specific. Even if there was a potential to mass produce something, if you can't even test the market in using the platform, it is useless to us.

We had much more advanced products that we could try out, but at this stage we are rethinking if this is the best way forward.

Regards and good luck to all.

Have you tried going Help>Get help and resources>Listing not buyable?

I have had products incorrectly characterised as 'Adult' before which eliminates them from all searches. Helpfully (as usual) Amazon doesn't tell you they have done this and require you to appeal to have it removed.

I'm sure you're products aren't Adult, but it might be worth trying as I'm sure there could be other reasons they shadow ban things.
