Misleading images for multipacks of products due to variation theme

I have been working with seller support (case #16043706851) on this issue but their suggestions are not solving my problem. I have multiple product families set up. We sell toner so the child listings are, for example, a 4 pack of cyan, magenta, yellow AND black cartridges, one packs of each individual color, and two packs of black. My issue is that since we chose the variation theme of "colorname-numberofitems" the two pack image shows up for the one pack ASIN. Seller support tells me with that theme, since it is not visual, Amazon will show the same group of photos for all ASINs in the family. So a customer who does not read and only looks at the images buys a one pack but since the photo shows two, they assume they are getting two and they do not.

Seller support suggested I use a visual variation theme and then all the images will show again. I have tried other variation themes (color, color & style) and without the number of items in the variation, it ends up that the two pack just disappears from the listing.

I am looking for suggestions on what variation theme I could use to make this work or any other solution.

Here is a link for a example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SR5VRZG
