Tracking shows delivered, buyer claims undelivered
Hello
I’m a private seller
I have a buyer asking for a refund for an item they claimed has not been delivered.
I posted it as a small parcel 2nd class 21st May, Royal Mail tracking shows that it was delivered 26th May.
I copied and pasted the information from the Track and Trace site and sent it to the buyer so they can see for themselves, is there anything else I should do?
Thanks for any advice…

I would do nothing else at the moment - wait to see if the buyer comes back to you.

If the sale is under £20 I send it small parcel, the PoP has a number on it that shows delivery the only problem is that sometimes the postie doesn’t update it, but if it shows undelivered Royal Mail will compensate.
Anything over £20 goes signed for.
The buyer that I started this thread about did not reply after I sent him the link that showed that it had been delivered

Go to Royal Mail Track & Trace and enter the reference number that is on your PoP.
I also sell on eBay and I had another non delivery claim last weekend, I sent them the link to the Track & Track page that showed delivered (strangely it didn’t show the GPS so maybe that’s changed) he messaged to say it wasn’t delivered to his house so I told him to check with his neighbours and local sorting office… and next day he left positive feedback!!
Guess he found it lol
I find that once they look and see the Royal Mail delivery confirmation they give up and try to scam someone else but when it happened to me on here I contacted seller support and was informed that if I had proof of delivery my part was done.
If you can enter the tracking number on the order details then if they do try to take it further Amazon can check for themselves

I to have supplied tracking, and since Covid 19 had several people say they have not recieved items, 1 buyer in Macedonia I sent 18/3/2020, and as it hadnt left the uk, amazon refunded him, yet he has received the item, that cost me £12.85 and postage £16.11. What can I do, nothing as amazon always rule in the buyers favour. Just start your own website Like I am doing.
