If you are buying goods to sell on for profit then you must, by law, be registered with HMRC as self-employed (possibly sole-trader to start off with), and have a BUSINESS seller account on Amazon. INDIVIDUAL seller account is only for selling off your own personal second-hand items(eg. books, DVDs,CDs etc) and NOT new goods.

Professional is NOT the account type, but only the name of the selling plan you signed up for (£30 a month fee).

Your first thing to do is register with HMRC, and once you have received your UTR you need to open a case with seller support and tell them you need to change your legal entity from Individual account to Business.
