Low Inventory Fee for Retiring Products

I vaguely recall reading something about the low-inventory fee not applying to products that are being retired, but I don't see anything about it in Seller University or the forums. Is this something I have confabulated? I'm retiring my last product and shutting down my Amazon business. How do I go about gaining this benefit, if it exists?

To my knowledge, that was not a change made with the Low inventory level fee. Shortly after launch, there was a change where the fee no longer applies to products that have sold less than 20 units in the past 7 days - that could potentially be jogging your memory?
