Pressure Washer False Advertising
Today I heard from a prospective buyer about his pressure washer (ASIN # B0DJQHNM9R) that Amazon currently says is its #1 best seller.
The product page claims that this 110-volt pressure washer produces 2.5 GPM at 4,200 PSI– something that's impossible for any machine that's powered by a 15-amp US electrical outlet. Most electric pressure washer pumps are around 70% efficient, so you'd need about 60 amps to produce that advertised flow and pressure.
Electric pressure washer importers with a presence in the US (e.g., ASIN # B00CPGMUXW) typically advertise credible ratings of around 1 GPM at 2,000 PSI. Other US-based importers (e.g., ASIN # B0CLT864YQ) use gimmicks like selectable, low-pressure mixing tubes to claim higher flows at a pressure that's too low to do much other than sweep leaves off a driveway.
However electric pressure washer importers outside the US – who seem to be immune from US legal action – continue to publish outlandish GPM and PSI claims on their Amazon product pages. Buyers make purchase decisions based on those false claims, yet may lack the knowledge or equipment to verify.
Is there anyone at Amazon who can follow the basic laws of physics to protect buyers from all that false advertising?

Thanks for letting us know about this, @Seller_xo4Akj7FBBnfC- the best step to take whenever you see activity that departs from Amazon selling policies is to report it as a violation to our teams for review. I am hoping you already completed this, as I do see the first ASIN you listed not pulling up a product detail page on Amazon.com.
Thanks again for taking the time to post, and happy selling!
