Why are Sellers Being Penalised for Amazon Actions?

I have just received a mail telling me that I have several lines that are now too slow for small and light.

Like many other sellers with “non essential” goods, FBA S&L delivery times were somewhat extended between just over a week as at present and were 20 days at one point. I understand that Amazon needed to focus it FBA procedures, but surely there should be some allowance for S&L items that were popular lines and are now predictably slow sellers?

After all it Amazon themselves that suggested selling FBM as well. We did this and customers used FBM instead as delivery times were way shorter than S&L, even for Prime customers.

The news updates suggest that the company is supporting it’s sellers through this crisis. However, I now need to sell at a loss or remove my stock.

All in all, it doesn’t feel like I am being very well supported…

Yes we are in the same boat. The inventory planner is even telling us to send more stock up of the stock they say is no longer eligible for SNL :woman_shrugging:
