Reimbursement reversal - Another Amazon Scam Saga
I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recent trends in reimbursement reversals. Over the last 365 days, I have experienced 44 reimbursement reversals. Specifically, an order placed in September 2023 was reimbursed in February 2024, only to have the reimbursement suddenly reversed by Amazon in JUNE 2024!! This reversal happened well beyond the 45-day return window, which is already an unusually long period.
I understand that there may be various reasons for reimbursement reversals, but I am particularly concerned about reversals on items that were reimbursed due to being damaged or due to customer service issues. This practice seems unfair and detrimental to serious sellers who rely on accurate and timely reimbursements.
Could you please clarify the policies and procedures that allow for such reversals, especially after the stipulated return window has passed? Additionally, I would appreciate any advice from other sellers who have faced similar issues and how they have managed to resolve them.
