A-to-z Claim granted to customer which returned different serial number, appeal also denied, please help.

The claim was granted in error, as the customer returned a used and out of warranty Jabra product (S/N: 00208233246) instead of the new unit we shipped (S/N: 00240233646).

Original Item Shipped: A brand new, factory-sealed Jabra product was shipped on November 5th, 2024 (Canada Post tracking 9460980334531504). The returned unit was used and out of warranty with a different serial number, while the box and rest of the accessories were unused.

We provided the case with images on November 19th showing the mismatch between the shipped and returned units. The customer did not return the correct item within Amazon’s 30-day return policy window.

On November 14th, the claim was closed due to no response from the customer. It was reopened and granted on November 19th and 20th respectively without new evidence from the buyer.

We’ve opened up a support case (16696068291) which has been transferred FOUR times in the past 48 hours with no response.

We've provided photos of the shipped and returned items with serial numbers, supplier invoice, tracking and communication records. Given the above can you transfer the case evidence to your A-to-Z Escalations team. We request the claim be reversed and the $564.99 reimbursed, as the original item was never returned. Thank you for your help.

same thing happened to me, and other shady deals. its mail fraud and amazon is complicit in allowing scammers to reign freely on their platform.

you can never talk with anyone in the a-z claim department, they are they judge and jury and we are nothing to them.

its really sad they support this type of theft and you cannot talk with anyone there reasonably to discuss your case. its honestly baffling to me. I don't think Bezos even knows this is going on to be honest with you, if he did I'm sure there would be a new policy in place.

So after 10 transfers and 7 days we were left with a one sentence email " Although we understand your position, we stand by our decision.Thank you.-Amazon". The same day we and I'm sure all of us reading this received the same mass blast from Amazon subject line "Stay alert about the latest scams". I've been selling for 5 years on this platform exclusively and I've never felt smaller in my life.

Also the lost/damaged in warehouse reimbursement is a joke. For some reason they always "damage" my expensive items and I get reimbursed pennies.

This exact thing happened to me. But they not only returned a different serial, it was an entirely different item. I sent them a brand new $300 dollar thermostat and they sent me back a completely differnt product, half the value, USED, missing parts, ripped serial off the box.Even though I reported him, took tons of photos, documented everything. I told him he either sent this by mistake or willfully committed fraud. Instead of him backing down, he doubled down, he filed an A-Z and instantly was refunded. The thermostat is even registered to them in Canada. Every court in the land would find the buyer guilty of felony fraud, but NOT AMAZON. They found in favor of the buyer and gave him all his funds back.

Amazon gave a reported criminal MY money, and also a performance strike. That put me over a 1% on my defects, so my ability to list featured items, as a good seller who has never cheated anyone. I no longer have featured, my products are essentially invisible to buyers. My sales have dropped to zero.

THIS IS HOW LITTLE, AMAZON CANADA cares about sellers. My account is destroyed, right before christmas. I have tons of inventory now, it cant be sold if nobody even sees it. I sold over 1.5 million dollars a year with my Amazon business. All to see it destroyed by the A-Z department and the criminals that run it.

All the while I warned Amazon that allowing A-Z strikes to be instantly refunded, with no proof of delivery, or return of the things purchased was going to be exploited. What happened to 48 hours being required to do an A-Z ? NOPE, they ignore that rule. Or timely returns of 15 days after return opened. Not enforced. No tracking number provided. No problem, refund given, strike to the seller.

We have NO DEFENSE NOW, every sale is at risk, we will be brought to our knees. Products given away free. Our account buried under fake strikes.

Demoted to selling with no Featured ability. Lower than a brand new account has on day one.

Did the listen to our reports, our cases, our telling everyone that will listen? NO Cases transferred to oblivion, no response.

They have put in place every possible measure to treat customers as royalty, and Amazon sellers as worthless criminals and filth.

Thank you Amazon Canada for destroying my decade long profitable business. Thank you for ignoring every open case. Thank you for giving criminals every benefit of the doubt. Letting them steal products, not returning them. Letting them send back literally anything but still giving them a refund. This is worst than the wild west. The sheriffs of Amazonland are on the side of the scammers and liars. They are enablers.

Sellers of Amazon. We are disposable. We are not appreciated. Yet we stay and keep the lights on with the fees we pay.

When all our business are robbed to the point of failure, and the sales stop, the fees dwindle. MARK THIS POST. This is why. This is because Amazon really does not care at all about the people who work hard every day just to break even, We have become slaves to a master who despises us.

you can never talk with anyone in the a-z claim department, they are they judge and jury and we are nothing to them.

its really sad they support this type of theft and you cannot talk with anyone there reasonably to discuss your case. its honestly baffling to me. I don't think Bezos even knows this is going on to be honest with you, if he did I'm sure there would be a new policy in place.
