INFORM CONSUMERS ACT
Hello,
As you know, we have had a warning regarding the INFORM Act Tax Questionnaire on our Amazon seller account for a long time. I am not a U.S. citizen or resident. I have already verified my identity, phone number, bank account, and business address, except for the Tax ID. Amazon does not allow me to correct my Tax ID information. Amazon incorrectly combines my U.S. business address with my registered address in Turkey. This combination is pre-selected by Amazon's system, and the Tax ID number on the INFORM Act Tax Questionnaire is incorrect as a result.
Despite numerous requests for assistance, the only response I receive is to "just wait, it will be solved," but no real solution has been provided. The answers are just repeated information about the INFORM Act Tax Questionnaire and are not helpful. We rely on Amazon for our livelihood and are understandably anxious about this situation, especially with the deadline for the INFORM Act Tax Questionnaire approaching.
Do you have any suggestions? I urgently need to change the U.S. address on the INFORM Act Tax Questionnaire to my registered address. Please help!

Thank you for the information provided regarding your attempts to complete the verification for the Inform Consumers Act. I understand that the information you may not have for the tax Id portion.
To update the information for tax verification, you will want to navigate towards the account information to the tax information. There should be an option for going into your tax information and updating the details listed. Once the updates are reflecting, then you may proceed with the Inform verification.
Have you attempted to edit the information through the process listed above? If so, are you still seeing the old information listed? Please continue to refer to this thread with any future questions or updates that you have on this situation.

I have the same exact issue. Did you get this resolved? I don't know which Tax ID do they need? I tried providing my Canadian business # and my Canadian Sin# none of these are acceptable for some reason. I have no idea which Tax id they are referring to. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance
