According to the A+ Content help page (link), when you add A+ Content to a product listing, Amazon automatically hides the plain-text product description - this is by design.
Interestingly, I noticed something a couple of weeks ago with a German listing - while Chrome only displayed the A+ Content (hiding the plain description), Internet Explorer actually showed both. I'm not sure if this is consistently the case or was just a temporary glitch, but it might be worth trying different browsers to see if you can view both.

Thanks for reaching out. The information provided by @Seller_i6S8knzW6zU6Z is correct. When you add A+ content, it replaced the product description on the detail page, which is expected functionality.
