Product listing detail removed & Letter of affiliation
Hi all,
I really hope that I can get some helpful comment here.
I have a product listing that has removed due to Amazon stated that my brand name is not associated with GS1 database and ask for affiliation between the brand name and UPC owner. I have bought the barcode from GS1 website and therefore I provided them GTIN certificate, email from GS1 and eventually the listing went live again.
However the listing got removed again due to the same issue, I then provided the same documents as proof of affiliation but this time they do not accept email as a proof as below message:
"Upon investigation with our team, please know that the provided screenshots/email from GS1 Database showing the brand, are not listed as accepted proofs. Further, you may submit a list of required documents.
For more information you may refer to the guidelines below,
• Copyright
• Trademark
• Legal agreement
• Email from an authorized brand
• Letter of affiliation
• Letter of affiliation should be clear and legible.
• Include the letterhead (preferably with logo).
• Include the issuer’s name and signature, along with contact information that Amazon can contact to verify if necessary.
• The affiliation between the brand and GTIN Owner should be clearly called out."
Can anyone out there help me solve the issue as I still have a large inventory, it will be a disaster.
Thanks

Are you enrolled in brand registry or did you apply for brand approval ?

I do not have GS1 UK membership as I have done the research prior listing the product stating that using barcode from GS1 US is allowed to sell in the UK as they share the same database.

Is the brand name you are using that you got brand approval for a brand that you personally own? Or did you get approval to sell another companies brand?
It reads to me like you are trying to use your own brand name to sell someone elses products, say Adidas.

Is it maybe cause you used a screenshot? - they do not accept screenshots - usually!

I do remember at the start having to write a letter to myself, from myself, giving myself permission to sell the items that I make on Amazon.
Maybe something similar here would be adequate.
Something on headed paper from your business name, confirming that you own the GS1 account and that the brand name you are listing under is also owned by you.
