T-Safe Claim Denied For No Good Reason
Hi Amazon,
We have submitted a T-Safe Claim which was Denied for no good reason. The customer made a return as it was stated faulty and we received the return. We shipped a replacement and provided the tracking number and proof we sent out the replacement wrist watch. We want our money returned to us as that was one the T-Safe Options for resolution.
We have clearly stated we have sent a replacement for the faulty item. We are asking for help on this issue please.
SAFE-T Claim ID: 42476-99822-8731543
Thank you

There was a replacement order on your account's "awaiting shipment", or you simply printed another label and send them another watch?

You mean when you filed the Safe-T claim? If so, that would only apply if the customer requested a replacement. In which case, there would have been a replacement order.
So, there is a good reason it was denied. You didn't refund the order as you were supposed to. Amazon refunded on your behalf.

The rule of thumb is to never do or offer a replacement. You refund the first order. Then tell buyer to buy again if they want another one.

This is a hard lesson learned, unfortunately. I understand you were trying to do a good thing but following all rules here is your best bet.

Hello! @Seller_RtZ0j4RIt6HTK
Thank you for using the Forums. I've read through this thread and found you have already received support from other members on this issue, I do acknowledge that you sent the replacement order with good intentions, but in the eyes of the SAFE-T claim that replacement happened outside our records therefore deemed as invalid and cannot be used to claim a reimbursement.
Replacements for seller-fulfilled returns
Only replacements that are done using the Online Return Center can be used to raise to SAFE-T claim reimbursement.

You did it wrong.
They return. You refund.
If it was defective you have no recourse. If it was not, you submit a saf t claim which may or may not be granted.
They reorder.
When you sent a replacement it was the same as saying you are at fault which they will deny a saf t claim.
