Amazon needs a certified bank letter for verification process

Hello,

I have a limited company and Amazon needs a certified bank letter for the verification process I uploaded one for my personal account number, address, name, and status is mentioned on the bank letterhead with the bank logo and stamp of the bank. But Still, the letter is getting rejected.

this happened about 4 times and Amazon blocked the identity information page and can't upload any documents on Seller Central

my question: Has this happened to anyone before and was he able to reactivate the account?

Does Amazon need a letter for my personal account or Ltd company account??

note: I am using Payoneer for Ltd company account and use it on Amazon

This is from the account you have stated to Amazon, the details of which need to match - name, address, bank account and sort code

Pop into your branch - if you can or call them, asking for a letter - on their letterhead confirming your business name and bank account details - address etc, then give to amazon

Amazon verifications is an exact match system, if it doesn't match, it gets rejected straight away

If you have set up as a limited company which I believe you are implying you need the limited one.

If you have set up as an individual/sole trader then your personal one.

Name and address must match the details you have given to Amazon for your seller registration/account

I wanted to share our recent experience with the verification process for Amazon Europe, particularly regarding the newly requested "Certified Bank Letter."

As a longstanding seller on Amazon Europe, this was the first time we encountered a request for a "Certified Bank Letter" for this year's verification process. I'd like to offer some insights based on our successful verification:

1. Avoid Online Payment Service Letters: While Amazon may accept letters from online payment service providers for payment receiving verification, these are not suitable as KYC verification documents. It is advisable to obtain a letter directly from a real bank.

2. Contact Multiple Banks: Reach out to different banks to inquire about their ability to provide the required letter. Some banks may suggest that a bank statement suffices as proof of account ownership, but it's worthwhile to find a bank willing to generate the specific letter. As a US based seller, our experience is Bank of America provided this service for us, and American Express Bank only issued the document for business bank accounts.

3. Digital Submission: You do not necessarily need a physical copy of the letter and scan it. Many banks offer the option to send a PDF version electronically. We submitted the pdf file directly to Amazon, and they accepted it within a few days.

4. Silence is Positive: In our experience during the past years, no news proved to be good news. Amazon typically responds swiftly if they find an issue with your submitted document, sending a performance notification to request a valid one within 12-24 hours. If you don't receive such a notification within a day of submission, it's likely that Amazon has accepted your document. Verification of the document's authenticity may take a few additional days.

I hope sharing our experience proves helpful to you in navigating the verification process.
