Parent / child variations
Hi all,
Recently joined new seller here.
Quick question if I may. I have a product that has a parent and several variations. When I first created the parent all the images and descriptions were used by/cascaded to the variations. That was great!
Now I wish to change the description used - across all variations. Do I need to update in each and every one, or can I change the parent and it will cascade?

The parent is just considered a “container” - you cannot view the parent on the amazon website, for example. The individual children is what you see on the amazon website, so you will need to change each one individually.
If you use the feed upload with Excel file this is pretty quick to do since you can just copy the same cell to each row
