Amazon keeps rejecting my VAT number
I've attempted to upload our VAT number like 5 times this month each time it gets rejected as they couldn't verify the number, it wont even accept our company reg numbers... i've tried as far as copy and pasting them from the Gov websites so it cant be human error!
Any advise would help!

the address you enter must match letter for letter what is on the digital certificate
BUT i found once its rejected no point in trying to add it again as it will be rejected.. you have to message the appeals email address and get them to approve it

Have you been to the government portal to check your vat number is there?
Sometimes (like what happened to me) it takes a little while for a new VAT number to show up on the current list published by HMRC, and Amazon may be going off an older version list that has not been updated with your number yet.
