Responsible Person Requirements for items that do not require a CE Mark

We sell a number of products to the EU that do not require a CE mark. However, we are still being asked for a 'Responsible Person'. Amazon have told me I need to appeal against each individual ASIN for each market place. Anybody found a quicker way please ?

I don't think there is. Though to be honest, by the end of the year, you'll need a responsible person, CE mark or otherwise!

Hi ,Thank you for your inquiry.

If the products being sold to the EU do not require a CE mark, a Responsible Person may still be required based on other regulations.

It's important to confirm if your products necessitate a Responsible Person by reviewing relevant EU regulations or seeking legal advice.

Each ASIN for each marketplace needs to be individually appealed against to comply with the EU regulations regarding Responsible Persons.

Amazon's Responsible Person Service (ARPS) was designed to streamline this process, but it is being closed down on March 31, 2024.

Best regards, Ezra
