account deactivation due to related account

Hello, can someone please help me:

My account was deactivated due to linked with my Ex Husband account. We are separated since June, but in August I asked him to buy couple toys for kids and add his credit card to my BUYER Amazon account. This cc also appeared in my sellers account , but when I realized it was too late.

I wrote multiple appeals , provided separation agreement , POA , IDs , etc, my case was even escalated twice to other team for a second review, but was denied.

Last time when I contacted Health Support they told me that they even do not know how to help me , because usually in such cases and documents provided, account should be reinstated for sure , and probably Amazon team still see connections between both accounts but I have checked everything: address, payments, emails, phone numbers ... step by step - no connection . He never used my computer and never shared common IP. Even Health support stuck.

I am really in need of advice and do not know what to do. Thank you

" We are separated since June"

If you are only separated he is not an "Ex Husband." If you are actually divorced you may have to provide Amazon a copy of the divorce decree. AND get his card off your account NOW and NEVER use one of his again!

I am sure its too late, and I am trying to think out of the box. Is it something getting a new computer would resolve?

I think I once read to start out with a new IP address, but I am not sure if that is about location or computer.

Good luck, I cant imagine they need divorce paperwork, especially if he is not selling.

Hello @Seller_jPK1tT9ANRchm,

Thank you for reaching out here on the forums.

"My account was deactivated due to linked with my Ex Husband account."

I see that your account has been deactivated for a violation of the multiple account policy due to a linkage between your soon to be ex-husbands account and you would like some guidance on what you can do next to address this.

"16496185841"

I was able to check on this case ID you provided and review this in further detail. Holistically the review team was unable to resolve this account deactivation due to the fact that the documents you provided do not fully support total account separation. Since you mentioned that there was shared credit card activity after the separation date, this will not be seen as a valid dispute as the accounts were linked after the separation. At this time the review team will require valid documents that show a current separation between you and your ex and their account, otherwise, reactivating their account will be required.

From here, I suggest to ensure that no other information is shared between the accounts and to submit the divorce documents once you get them. This will prove that there is no association between the accounts after the official date of divorce.

I know this is not the information you were hoping for, but I wanted to be honest with you about my findings. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out. The forums community and I are here to support you.

Wishing you the best,

LeviDylan
