Item shipped yesterday with Amazon Shipping Ground and today customer requesting refund

As stated above, customer purchased item on Wednesday, 9/18 and this morning, Thursday, 9/19 I received notification that customer wishes a refund because they ordered wrong item.

Is there a way to stop the shipment and have it returned to me and then I issue a refund?

Any other suggestions are appreciated....thank you.

You can't get the shipment back. Trying to stop it mid-route is difficult. If it was my situation, I would follow the approved steps.

Customer receives order, customer requests return, you approve return request {you have to} BUT DO NOT GIVE PAID SHIPPING LABEL, HAVE AMAZON PROVIDE AN UNPAID. If item is received back in new condition, you give a full refund.
