Customer left one star product review which violates Community Guidelines

Hello,

I have reported a 1-star product review for violating the Community Guidelines using the following methods, however, the product review has not been taken down:

  • Reporting the review in Seller Support Case ID 15133062171;
  • Using the 'Report' button next to the review;
  • Reporting policy violation as Complaint ID 15133075881;
  • Sending an email to community-help@amazon.com
  • Reporting the review with Brand Registry in Case ID 15145616291;
  • Escalating the violation with Brand Registry as Case IDs 15191010121, 15199687661, and 15209555281; and
  • Sending an email to community-abuse-escalation@amazon.com

In line with the forum post So you want to remove a customer review?, I am providing two reasons why this review should be taken down.

This is the review in question (I have excluded identifying information per forum rules):

img

The first reason this product review should be removed is because it focuses on product condition and damage when claiming the product and its packaging was damaged and posting a photo of a damaged product and its packaging. As per Community Guidelines, product reviews of this nature are not allowed:

img

The second reason the review should be removed is because it violates the Guideline above when focusing on ordering issues and returns when saying: “And ofcourse you can not return it. So I'm out the money.” The review is nevertheless misleading as the customer requested and was issued a full refund on the day of the review claiming “Damaged During Transit” for this FBA order, which contradicts the review in its entirety, and further supports removal of the review as the customer claimed the product was damaged during transit by FBA.

As per Community Guidelines, product reviews are meant to help customers learn about a product, this product review focuses on individual experience ordering and feedback about damaged product packaging. Link to the Community Guidelines: Community Guidelines.

As a side note, I created Seller Support Case ID 15139391541, and requested an investigation to confirm our product is not damaged. Seller Support responded “Upon investigation we found that there is no defect found and the product matches the images displayed on detail page.” The product manufacturer confirmed that this would have had to be done intentionally, and if it were caused in production all units would have been in this condition (which they were not as confirmed by Seller Support’s investigation requested by us, and other complaints were never received). Therefore, the alleged damage could not have occurred before shipment to the customer. The review photo appears to show rips, punctured holes, and burns with a torch lighter of the product cover.

I kindly request the removal of this product review due to the clear violations of the Community Guidelines.

I appreciate your time to review this request.

Kind regards,

Str8EG
