Struck Out

In my feedback manager I have a false buyer statement as a consequence of a buyer unable to differentiate between 2024 and 2025.

The statement was struck out by Amazon. That’s just a thin line which runs horizontally along the sentences. Problem is the false statement can easily be read regardless. Amazon added under the false statement -

“Message from Amazon: "This item was fulfilled by Amazon, and we take responsibility for this fulfilment experience."”

So if they take responsibility why leave the false statement ?

Also Amazon appears to be apologising to the buyer because of the buyer thinking 5 is a 4 ! Senseless. Amazon should be apologising to me, removing completely the malicious statement and explain to the buyer how to recognise numbers.

It's the standard message that appears if it's an FBA order.

If it's not actually a fulfilment issue, i wouldn't draw too much attention to it - they might undo the strike out.

Is it actually a 'malicious statement'? Or has the customer just made a mistake?

If it's malicious and abusive, they may remove it. If it's a mistake, it's almost impossible to have it removed because no one at Amazon actually looks at it. If they did look at the feedback, can you provide them with proof that it's a false statement?

Personally, I consider it a win when they strike out feedback that isn't their fault - they certainly don't strike it out if the customer makes a mistake on an FBM order.
