How long do I wait to apply for a product listing?

I entered my product ASIN and the button came up as Not Available and the reason being "Collectible, Refurbished, Used conditions: You cannot list the product in this condition."

There are other listings of this product here so I am not sure why I can't list it. It is not a collectible item and it is new and unused.

I've read some articles and forums here and it said I could wait for them to start accepting applications again and I wanted to know how long that could take.

Thank you

I'm not sure what you mean by "the button came up as Not Available." Do you mean there are currently no sellers on the listing?

Is this the screen you're seeing?

If your item is New (as you state it is), you should be able to click on the Select a condition box, select New, then Sell this product.

The statement "Collectible, Refurbished, Used conditions: You cannot list the product in this condition." simply means you're not authorized to sell in those particular conditions.

Assuming you have permission from the brand to sell the item, you should be able to do the above and sell it as New. However, if after clicking the Sell this product button it states you are required to apply, you must apply at that point. Amazon will ask for invoices or a Letter of Authorization at that point.

Hello @Seller_XBJVbwi2w03Xl- and thanks for looking to the seller forums for some insight on selecting conditions.

I agree with @Seller_LImVvUWeyiCfQthat it sounds like there may be some sort of approval needed for this case. If you are trying to list a new item as new, then approval from the brand to sell their items, or approval from Amazon to sell in the given category may be needed. If you have submitted an application but were informed no new applications are being accepted, I would recommend checking back in the future as this is subject to change, but there is no timeline that can be provided.

Thanks again for the post, and I hope this information is useful!
