UK Weather 5-6th Jan 25
Well, I’ve woken up to a blanket of snow, and the weather forecast has changed to much worse conditions than previously expected.
For the first 12 months on Amazon, it will be the first time Royal Mail will not be able to make collections tomorrow the way things are looking; what’s the status of play with Amazon? I’ve noticed they’ve padded our delivery estimates but not our ship-by-dates; we’ve turned off premium and prime now; however, does anyone know if, effectively, most of the country is under snow, they will be allowing delayed shipments on Tuesday? It’s kinda worrying not being in this situation before! I wasn’t too worried before but noticed the time it was expected to rain has now changed to snow ❄️

Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thanks, everyone.

Amazon will not care, they never.
In fairness though, you should have anticipated the bad weather,it’s been on the news for over a week and increased your handling time. If not, do so now. And make sure you mark your orders as despatched, even if not collected by RM, so you don’t have late despatch issues.,
If you are SFP, I have no advice as I don’t do it but once again, Amazon will dictate what you must do and in reality, this will be unachievable.
It’s the same every time there is snow.
I hope it works out for you.

As stated Amazon do not care if it snows and can't get your parcels out.
For a lot of the UK it is forecast for rain this afternoon so the snow will disappear fairly rapidly. There are very few weather warnings for tomorrow apart from Scotland.
I expect RM to do collections tomorrow based on the weather forecast for our area.
If they can't do collections in your area then you can look into whether you can drop off at a Mail Centre provided it is safe to do so.

ebay is usually forgiving but Amazon never! Most of us have learnt the hard way.

Hiya Yorkshire3D, we're in the same boat as you. We're in the hills of West Yorkshire and despite spending hours clearing the drive and road this afternoon, (and the fact it was supposed to turn to rain) it's been snowing heavily all evening and is now forecast to continue throughout the night. I've already called Ebay and they've noted our seller account and said we can appeal any impact on our dispatch defect rating due to it being a "natural calamity". I agree with the rest of the replies, knowing Amazon they won't give a sheet. Can you just mark as dispatched or drop off at a post office yourself if safe to do so?
