Why is no one talking about GPSR?
The EU boards are full of it.
Currently Amazon are expecting me to upload around 48,000 photos and 8,000 DOCs by the 13th of December.
The portal for uploading doesn't work properly at the moment.
I have no idea if the brands can do it or if I have to do it all.

There have been quite a few posts/threads about it - check forum search.
If you are only selling into the UK though - as it stands amazon advise that you don;t need to provide the information.
I mean that goes against what the rules around GPSR state, as even if selling into Northern Ireland you need to provide the information - but....amazon are never wrong are they?
What? That's totally wrong. That's like saying the UK Gov can't stop us buying guns from the US and importing them to here.
I have just had a very long conversation with Amazon about the way they have implemented GPSR. It is being done at a seller/product level.
Every seller has to provide the information for every product. It is not possible for the manufacturer to do it for all sellers.
On the 13th of December any seller who has not provided the information will have their listings blocked. If no sellers have provided the information then the listing will be removed.
There will also be an impact on AHR from the 13th of December.
I appreciate what your saying, have they not been asking for the documents before ? for our store, we have been asked for DoCs for the past three years across multiple platforms ?
The new changes now add in the need for country of origin and packaging and safety information.
There were around 900 for us, which took some time.
It depends on whether the brands are going to do it or not.
If the brand owns the listing i,e, they created it then they should be providing it for everyone, however, you have to factor in that there maybe many cases where a product has been added and the brand dont sell on amazon or contribute to it.
In that case, you would need to ask them for the details.
If they dont provide it or you cant then I believe the listing will be removed
What is the process for finding out if you have product that is affected?
Or is it ALL product affected? (Outside of Toys / food looking items etc)
Also, is anyone talking about GHS?
Hello @Seller_Oh4uBHwzQuiUU,
I'm Sarah with Amazon.
I checked with the partner team and they confirmed me that the seller is responsible for providing the information.
Kind regards,
Sarah.
Is anyone getting anywhere with this?
I am uploading photos and they are being accepted in image manager (green tick) but the status still says submission is required and nothing is moving to archived.
I have had multiple different answers from seller support. One time they told me there was a bug but said it would be fixed by today.
I have no idea if what I am doing is correct.
I knew the GPSR dashboard would not work before I even tried. It IS such a mess. Why is everything so blooming difficult to do on Amazon? I have had all my products analysed in a lab and ok’d. I have created all the Documents Of Conformity and Technical Manual and other things required but there no use if I can’t upload them. I suspect when I do bots will reject them. I’m almost at the end of my tether. The whole thing is really a mess. We need a video or a some actual person not a bot to speak to us explaining exactly what is required for Northern Ireland if it’s impossible for amazon to UNCOUPLE from UK.
