Sellers with more than one account

Why does Amazon let sellers have more than 1 account when the rules are clear one account only so a person with multiple accounts has the advantage with pricing.

For different business reasons, Amazon does allow sellers to have more than 1 account.

Both previous answers are correct, approval by Amazon and typically for different business reasons.

Would like to add though, have heard of scenarios of when one account gets suspended the other goes with it regardless if it was in the wrong or not.

Food for thought.

Hello @Seller_tQzicGxyezDBo

Thank you for reaching out in Amazon forums, this is Lucre, and I'm happy to help.

Just wanted to pop up in here and confirm that sellers @Seller_y7W9ccUlauftEand @Seller_7LrAV0m5llaI7are correct.

There's a process to approve multiple accounts if there's a business reason behind to justify such request. This process is done through seller support, if you're wishing to create another account, get in contact with them, and they'll walk through the steps.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Lucre_Amazon

you can have different accounts when you have different business entities plus selling different products. Amazon University has a video regarding this.
