We sell our Products using Fullfilment by Amazon (FBA) program. We ship our products through their Amazon Global Logistics(AGL)

From my understanding once the products are in Amazon's custody in FBA in California docks they're insured. If they're damaged or lost we receive credits for those units, however

Question -

What about the products in Transit, are they insured? They reach AGL Docks in China and then Shipped on Boat to California

What if the Container is Lost or Damaged in transit (china to california)?

Say the ship sinks for example or container fails off?

Will Amazon Insure the damage/lost inventory in transit or is it only after arriving in Amazon warehouses in USA?

I ask here because I haven't gotten a clear answer from Amazon Support.
