A-Z buyer claiming Package didn't arrive , signed as company
Hello,
today one of my buyer opened a-z claim on amazon UK , he bought 3 pcs and also choose expedited shipping option total 250 .
Today opened A-Z that the package did not come , i got proof of delivery from royal mail but he is signed as the company , i mean for example in othe rder confirmation page shows like this :
"Joh Smith
Smithcar LTD "
And he signed as “Smithcar” he also claiming :
This Item still has not ARRIVED. I contacted the seller who said to me it had been delivered to the address i requested but i have searched the whole business and spoke to everyone who accepts the post and can confirm that it has not arrived. As you can imagine this is a lot of money and cannot afford for this money to be missed.
I don’t know if i have a chance to win it …

I would immediately put in a theft report to Police at the buyers location & tell the buyer this is your intention.
Unless the buyer name is the signature you may lose the A-Z or it could be Amazon funded.

I thought sellers had a good chance with A-Z claims if there is a proof of delivery and tracking information as there should be with RM…
That said I have seen a lack of consistency with A-Z claims in the past.
Can you speak with the buyer? I think telling the buyer that you have no option but to contact the police is a good move but you are on thin ice thats for sure…Not sure where RM stand on goods in transit insurance?

MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE THE LINK TO THE TRACKING!
Kika and I have had some differences in the outcomes of tracked/signed A-Z cases and the only difference we could determine was that whilst we were both copying and pasting the tracking information such as delivery date etc, Kika was adding a link to the tracking and I was not. Some of my A-Z’s with signature/tracking were refunded out of my pocket whilst Kika (claims, and I have no reason not to believe) hasn’t lost one yet.
The only difference we could spot, Kika includes the tracking LINK so please ensure you do the same.
I’ve not had another yet to try this out with so do let us know how you get on.

Royal Mail will have a GPS record as to where it was signed for, they keep the GPS record for two weeks.

We had a A to Z against us today , we told Amazon in Jan the buyer is a fraud and will open a case as come across the same buyer in ebay. Sale in Dec confirmed delivered when buyer trie dto say not arrived 5th jan. Opened case today 3 months later and amazon just rolled over and gave money back. Sickening when we knew they would do this and Amazon help. Would be interested to know if Police follow this up as in our experience they wont bother.
Has anyone won a prosecution against these cyber thieves
