Amazon issuing refunds before expected deleivery date

Hi all

Last night I received an email from Amazon Germany stating that a return has been automatically authorised for one of my orders, and a refund granted.
The expected delivery dates for this order are Sat, 4 Dec 2021 to Sat, 11 Dec 2021 !!!

So apparantly, the customer can just wait til the start of the delivery window, say it’s not arrived, and get a full refund. And will get to keep the product.

What a disgrace. Anyone else experiencing this??

Thanks

So was it a return request or the customer complaining it hadn’t arrived? Because are treated completely different by Amazon.

If it was a return, did you have a return address in Germany? If not that’s why Amazon issued the refund.

If it was an A-Z for not received then you might have grounds to appeal
