disbursement reserve policy setting ?

hi there,

I am getting an error saying "Your disbursement reserve policy must be set to 7 days or more after delivery" for one of the Deals

I am wondering where in the setting I can have this updated?

case: 17436379041

Apparently, the support doesn't know the answer and had to escalate it to the internal team. However, I'm hoping it's something in the settings that I can easily update. Has anyone encountered this issue?

Hi @Seller_46pj8ASPGNFar,

This error seems to be related to your account's payment reserve policy. According to the "Payments based on delivery date" help page (link), the standard Amazon reserve policy is "DD + 7" (Delivery Date plus 7 days). The help page also notes: "Your reserve period may be extended following an assessment of your overall risk and historical performance."

From what I can tell, you're seeing this error message while trying to create a Deal. This suggests that the Deals system requires accounts to have at least the standard DD+7 reserve period, but your account might actually have a shorter reserve period (which would normally be advantageous!).

What I'd recommend doing next is checking your current reserve period. You can do this by going to Payments > Transaction view and filtering for "Deferred transactions." Then click "Update" to see all transactions currently held in reserve and their expected payment release dates.

This will show you how long your funds are currently being held and confirm if your reserve period is indeed less than 7 days.
