Unable to charge (due to PSD2 regulation)

Today received message that Amazon is not able to charge with the listed charge methods.
My credit card is working. I contacted my bank. The bank provided me with a written comment (see below).

We see 1 declined payment today because the merchant sends the transaction without the correct Safe Purchase authorization required by the new PSD2 regulation.
You can try to repeat the transaction, if that fails, then contact the merchant.

For information!
From 1 January 2021, payments with payment cards on the Internet may be disrupted if the merchant chosen by the customer (online store or other e-commerce participant) does not use appropriate security technological solutions - strict authentication. In such cases, payment service providers that are card issuers will have to reject online purchases in order to protect customers’ interests, even though such purchases have been made in the past.

Strong authentication for online payment card payments in the European Union (EU) is provided by the related regulatory technical standards of the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2), which require stricter authentication requirements for online payment card payments. In order to meet these requirements, service providers, incl. EU (including EEA) merchants and card issuers need to put in place solutions that improve payment security and provide a higher level of customer protection.

Has anyone encountered anything like this?
I made the case to seller support, but the only thing I was advised to do is change the charge method data.
Please advise what could I do next to resolve this issue?
I have limited access to my account.

Thanks in advance!

Sure any card you like AS LONG as it has NEVER been used to pay for another Amazon selling account.

It may be a temporary glitch.

Or, as seller support said, just use another card to charge it to? Unless everyone’s payments fail Amazon are unlikely to make any changes on their end.

Thanks for the reply PeterB.

So far, I’ve had a company’s credit card attached.
Can I add my personal credit card?

Yes, you can use your personal credit card. I came across the same issue with my account, I changed the card information and it took me 24 hrs to get my account functional without any restriction.
