No, they won't. Does it directly and immediately benefit Amazon? Then no they aren't going to help or do anything.

It is so sad that as honest sellers we all have to jump through hoops with Amazon with the Inform Consumers Act and compliance with every other policy to the letter.

We are constantly being accused of selling counterfeit goods based on no evidence from buyers and are always guilty until proved innocent in any case and yet there is story after story about bad actors, scammers and others and they seem to operate with impunity and continue their illegal trade.

I can only assume that the department that receives these reports from sellers does nothing about them, otherwise they would be resolved.

It is fine for Amazon to say that they will act, but are unable to supply any information or updates on the report, this just means that when nothing is done, nobody knows about it.

It seems that the more honest you are on Amazon the more Amazon are going treat you as a dishonest seller based on no evidence or proof whatsoever.

Personally I am fed up of being accused of wrong doing by Amazon based on reports that have no evidence or substance and it is for me to defend myself and prove that I am honest, always guilty until proven innocent with Amazon.
