FNSKU VS GS1 UPC BARCODES

i have my own UPC (Gs1) barcodes for my brand products, which are only sold by me. i.e there will not be anyone else using my UPC's.

DO i still need to have FNSKU's printed and pasted on top of my barcodes? Thats going to be messy since my codes are on the cartons already.. Please let me know if there still is risk of mixing up my cartons at FBA

Yes there could be. This is because going back 20+ years ago, sellers simply made up UPC's when creating a listing on Amazon. At that time, Amazon paid no attention to them. A lot of those products with fake UPC's are still live on the site. Amazon just lets them ride.

Now along comes a seller like yourself with a valid GS1 UPC only to find out it is related to another product. To correct the situation, seller support will be useless. Send all of your documentation of ownership to Amazon's Legal office in Seattle. they can correct the situation quite rapidly.
