Why does nobody from Amazon understand how brand licensing works?

A brand (licensor) has a contract with a manufacturer (licensee) to produce goods for the brand and wholesale or distribute to retailers (us) for sale to customers.

There is no Mickey Mouse factory making T-shirts or Manchester United factory making footballs.

YOU REMOVE OUR PRODUCTS FROM SALE AND REQUEST LETTERS OF AUTHORISATION FROM THE BRAND, HOWEVER THE BRAND AND RETAILER DO NOT HAVE A DIRECT RELATIONSHIP. This is the whole point of licensing!

WE PROVIDE CONTRACTS AND LICENSING AGREEMENTS FROM THE BRAND (LICENSOR) TO THE MANUFACTURER/SUPPLIER (LICENSEE), AND AUTHORISATION FROM THE MANUFACTURER/SUPPLIER TO US, WHICH GETS REJECTED.

AMAZON IS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE. WE HAVE SOLD BRANDED AND LICENSED PRODUCTS FROM WORLDWIDE BRANDS FOR 20 YEARS WITH NO ISSUE ANYWHERE EXCEPT FOR AMAZON.

How are we supposed to sell any licensed products on Amazon and why do some products get reinstated, but most rejected, despite us supplying the same paperwork?

Why are your automated systems so bad and remove genuine, authorised products from sale with no appeal process that actually works to re-instate listings?

You constantly remove our listings claiming that we are not authorised to sell them or they infringe trademarks when they do not.

Sometimes the brand on the listing has been changed to something random, incorrect and nothing to do with the product,

Seller support tell us to update the brand attribute, but

- The brand attribute is LOCKED by Amazon

- The brand attribute is GREYED OUT and cannot be changed by sellers

- Uploading a file, as Seller Support suggest DOES NOT CHANGE THE ATTRIBUTE

- We provide images of the actual product with branding information - seller support will not correct the brand and sends cut and paste auto-reply.

- We provide letters of authorisation from the manufacturer and licensee - seller support will not correct the brand and sends cut and paste auto-reply

- We are caught in a loop of Amazon refusing, failing, unable to correct the brand value, and getting threatened with our account being closed.

Seller suport are useless and cannot resolve this. Brand registry are useless and reject every document. We go around in circles and after 50 contacts NOTHING EVER GETS FIXED.

Do you actually want us to sell on Amazon? Your seller support and ability to fix a simple issue with a listing is appalling. Your catalogue is a mess. You are losing thousands in fees from us and we are moving more and more products to your competitors' platforms, where we do not have the constant threats to close our account and on the very rare occasion that we have an issue it is fixed in a single contact.

how can products be listed when one dept demands one thing another Amazon depts demands contradictory information and a third demands yet another contradictory name.

Ie GS1 demands that the registered name is used which is usually the manufacturer not the brand name another dept will block it saying the manufacturer name cannot be used it must be the brand name and a third Amazon depts then demands a variety of the brand name needs to be used

We are now blocked as a retailer the distributor is blocked the manufacturer is blocked and the brands are blocked as you give random seller complete control over brands that have nothing to do with them leading to the blocking of authentic products but yet you allow fake goods to be listed with ease which is the opposite effect of what you claim you want to do
