Am I not winning the Buy Box because I am FBM and new to Amazon as a seller?
At this point I just need to know....Am I not winning the Buy Box because I am FBM and new to Amazon as a seller? I feel i have a strong product(researched it like crazy before purchasing 500 units from manufacturer). I have a great listing, professional pictures, healthy account, priced lower than other sellers. I started a PPC campaign and nothing. NO CLICKS, NO DATA. I'm not sure why I am not winning the buy box at this point, what does Amazon need to see from me to make my listing a viable candidate. And the weird thing is the PPC Campaign. I have done a deep dive on the key words and trust me they are ALL there but no clicks on the listing. I gotta be doing something wrong here. Please advise, thanks guys.

Yes, no, maybe, possibly, probably, all of the above.
That 'buy box' NOW Featured Offer is a mystery shrouded in fog and information clouded with misinformation and ALL of it is on purpose.
Amazon will favor themselves and FBA sellers virtually 100% of the time because $$$$$ talks and THEY pay Amazon more.
Amazon will NEVER give a 'formula' or every con artist on the site would have the 'buy box' and the huge majority would be their friends offshore who specialize in black hat ops and hijacking ASINs.

Hey @Seller_bOaC9QmUmVfMc, There are a number of factors that go into becoming the featured offer, but no one can pinpoint specifically why you may not be the featured offer. If your listings are eligible, then all you can do is keep on top of the known factors like pricing and customer service metrics.

I gotta be doing something wrong here. Correct.
You can read, view online, and graduate from Amazon's Seller University, but unfortunately no one will tell you the truth about how to operate a profitable Amazon business. Successful Sellers know it all depends on three things, product, Product and PRODUCT.
Amazon selling is really quite simple. Sell only products that buyers want and need and sell them at the lowest price offering. These products are the ones that sell themselves with no additional addons like advertising necessary.
Smart sellers never buy advertising or jump into FBA until they have test sold their product first by using FBM for at least a month. That way you have an idea of the saleability of of the product and how much profit you can expect to much monthly in profit.
It makes no sense to buy 500 of a product when one case of 48 should be enough to test sell. If you sell all 48 in a week, well 500 may be a good choice. If you sell 4 in a month, learn your lesson and look for a new product to sell.
What no vendor of advertising will tell you, not even Amazon, is the bottom line. Advertising will not sell a product that no one wants and if you have a good selling product, it is not necessary. Now where do you think your product fits in? It is a valid question to ask when assessing your business. Now if you ask Seller support what to do, they may suggest increasing the PPC price and that should solve the problem. All the while you pump money into the plan when the real problem is simply selling the wrong product.
