Missing payment

My Bank changed my US Bank account number and before I was able to enter all my new Bank account info in Seller Central, Amazon sent my December 9, 2023 payment to my old Bank account which was closed.

I opened an original case on January 4th, telling Amazon that I contacted my Bank, and they told me to ask Amazon to cancel this ACH payment and re-initiate a new one to the new Bank account number. The case is still pending.

I contacted Amazon support a little bit later because they did not handle the case. I re-opened a new case in February, and was told that the case was transferred to Merchant Credit department. Since then, I called Amazon support 5 times, and always get the answer that the case was transferred and that only this department can handle the case. 4 months now and I still did not get my money. So support does not have authority to handle the case and it is impossible to talk to Merchant Credit department. What else can I do?

Hello @Seller_PPNzEVGfq3YyW,

Thank you for reaching out. Are you having an issue with your deposit method? When your seller account is settled and you have a positive balance, Amazon sends the money to your bank account using an Automated Clearing House (ACH) or electronic funds transfer. It can take up to five business days for the money to appear in your bank account after Amazon initiates a payment.

Your bank statement might show that Amazon's payments come from more than one source. Amazon Payments, Inc. makes the payments for transactions in which buyers agree to pay on or before the shipment of goods or completion of services. Amazon Services LLC makes the payments for transactions in which buyers agree to pay after the shipment of goods or completion of services.

Before we can pay you, you must provide a valid Bank account as the Deposit Method in your seller account settings. We cannot make payments to a credit card or online payment system, such as PayPal.

Please provide the seller support case IDs you have opened. I would like to review and see if we can escalate.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Micah
