How to stop returns for used cosmetics?
My store is currently FBM. We sell cosmetics (lip products). This morning I received a return for a lip gloss that a woman used "several times a day" and now wants to return the lip gloss. Amazon approved this without giving me a chance to decline it since the product was opened and used. How are used cosmetics allowed to be returned? Is there a way to stop this?

Thanks for the post, @Seller_eXpKsL74EsWQX- it is true that beauty products made of hazardous materials, including flammable liquids or gases, are not returnable to Amazon. These products will not display a "free returns" message on the product detail page. If your products don't fall into this classification, they may be returnable.
In case its useful, I'll also include links to resources on how to configure return settings, and some tips to reduce A-to-z Guarantee Claims and returns overall!
Finally, you may wish to review the process for applying a restocking fee, or submitting a SAFE-T Claim, to help manage the individual order experience.
I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions on this content.
Best,
Danny
