Vat on commission
I'm reaching out regarding the VAT deduction on commissions for my sales in Europe. As a UK-based Amazon seller, I've been advised by my European tax agent that I'm not eligible for the standard VAT policy in Europe due to my foreign VAT registration.
However, I've noticed that Amazon has already deducted VAT on my commissions. I'm seeking guidance on how to claim back this deducted VAT, as neither Amazon nor my tax agent seems to be taking responsibility for the process.
Could you please clarify the procedure for claiming back VAT on commissions for foreign-registered sellers like myself? I'd appreciate any assistance or direction you can provide to resolve this matter.

From what I have seen, this should be claimed back through your UK VAT filings (If registered for VAT in the UK)
