Listing Randomly Inactivated- No explanation why

Hoping you can help. We have a listing that was randomly changed to "Inactive" without explanation. The open offer was removed (not by us). Amazon Support keeps telling us to relist or delete our listing and start a new one. We've tried to relist it, but it is still showing inactive. Deleting it is not a viable option. Can you look into WHY this was changed to "Inactive" and help us get this reverted? We now have stranded inventory and no sales coming in.

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help. After further research we have found the ASIN was discontinued recently. In order to activate this listing, relist the product by creating a new product listing on Amazon.
You may have to remove the inventory and send it back in under the new ASIN.

Can you see WHY it was discontinued? We have nothing to go off of.
Definitely do not want to relist the product as we will lose so much history. We've deleted all of the content (in case that was causing the issue, even though we have never received any direction as to why it was discontinued).
We'd like a path forward for getting it reinstated. Can you help?
