Buy shipping problem

I have a recurring problem with buy shipping, Royal Mail second class is not been given as an option only first class.

One of these orders is 10 miles away from me and one is 15 miles, both are low value, I am reluctant to pay £3.50 for postage for a pattern costing £3.75.

Is anyone else seeing this?

You probably have SSA turned on. Turn it off and control your own business, not Amazon.

I've had the same issue for over 3 weeks, I've an opened case but just keep getting the below message.

Thank you for your continued patience. We are currently researching your issue in partnership with the responsible team and will provide an update as soon as any additional information becomes available.

I have also noticed this, and confused to why it’s happening. I think it depends on what day the customer orders and is linked to the opening times. For instance, if a customer orders on a Thursday and is closed Saturday and Sunday the 2nd class option doesn’t seem to show.

As well as the tips above also check your Collection/Pickup time

For example, if your Collection time is set at 3pm and customer orders at 2:45pm then often Amazon will only offer 1st Class as they 'think' you will miss todays collection post and it will be shipped tomorrow. However, in order to meet the date they have told customer to expect it by, they will then only allow you to buy 1st Class.

Try setting Collection time to say 5pm, wait a little to have it take effect, then try buying your labels (you can then set collection time back again after). This also sometimes works.

Alternatively - if you have a Royal Mail account just buy the label yourself via Click & Drop instead and upload the tracking.

TBH - I have now given up with Buy Shipping because of these problem and others (like it sometimes goes down but Amazon never take that into consideration when it effects your metrics). I now put everything through Click & Drop instead.

Happening to us too! When on the greyed out area of shipping services, it says "does not fit with customers business hours". Which is ridiculous, they order next day on a Friday and it says deliver on Monday as closed Sat and Sun but DPD and Tracked 24 will now deliver too early! Makes no sense if a Prime order.
