I've been having problems with Royal Mail because our gate is broken and local dogs have used our path as a toilet. I've been told post won't be delivered to us until the gate is fixed.
Unfortunately, we are getting our roof fixed atm and can't fix the gate because the workmen need the space to bring in their supplies

If it is on a tracked service you could try Royal Mail's new stop and return feature, you would need to contact their business support team

This is the Amazon system at its best .. and just one of the reasons why it is not 'fit for purpose'. Many of the Amazon tricks are just simply annoying, but many more are annoying, expensive for the customer (ie. you, the merchant seller) and are simply wrong !

I think best way to solve the issue. You should go there yourself fix their gate then go back and ship the item again.

A-Z is a joke.
We have had numerous A-Z claims granted where the tracking shows that the item was delivered.
Then we appeal, nothing happens.
Then we open a case, nothing happens.
Buyer gets refunded every time.
Amazon does nothing.
