A-Z claim counted against me due to Refund at first scan

Someone please look into this.

Order ID "112-2917160-8869060". Buyer opened a return. Then opened an A-Z claim.

They sent it back, "refund at first scan" happened, and I got hit with a defect. We shouldn't be forced into a defect because Amazon forces the money from our account. And due to A-Z claim, I can't even file a Safe-T claim.

We have closed an A-to-z Guarantee claim of $36.99 on order 112-2917160-8869060 because you issued a refund to the customer. No further action is required from you at this time but we have counted the claim against your Order Defect Rate.

Wow.. So, Amazon actually did the refund, but then says you're at fault for the A-Z claim that never should have been opened because they refunded all the while falsely claiming you did the refund. That is certainly the pits. I know not to refund a buyer while an A-Z claim is open, but I didn't realize that if it gets hit with RFS then the seller automatically loses the A-Z and gets a defect. The buyer put you between a rock and a hard place by opening an A-Z claim after they opened a return but before they returned the item, and then Amazon finished you off.
