Amazon FBA UK - Stock Inbound - 6 days now
Hi All,
Our first FBA shipment was delivered by our Courier to an Amazon Warehouse on 01.06.18. It is now 07.06.18 and the stock is still showing as ‘inbound’ on the ‘manage inventory’ page.
Can someone please explain to me if there is a way I can get more information on this? We feel like sitting ducks at the moment as we do not know where to turn.
Thanks!
Cal.

Nothing you can do.All deliveries stay as “inbound” until Amazon open your box & scan the goods when status will change to “receiving”.Our deliveries in the last 6 weeks have all taken a minimum of 7 days from delivery to the warehouse to being on sale,it can be 2 weeks or longer at busy times.

I know its a pain, All my deliveries to Euka take 2 weeks from leaving here until up for sale, This has being going on for ages now. 90% of all other FBA items have to be sent to BHX2 and of course when they do get scanned in they are sent out to other warehouses and again can take 2 weeks before actually available for sale. Why do they tell me to send items to one warehouse and then send it straight out to other warehouses, even if only 1 product in shipment, why not just send it direct to the final destination. The joys of it all. lol. Still I’d be lost without it. You just have to get used to it.

Hello, Everyone,
I have sent multiple shipments to FBA, and sometimes it takes longer and sometimes it take shorter. I have requested to answer me the question why does it take so long to get the products atleast to the status of Receiving.
I got an answer that sometimes there is a queue of the carriers that deliver the pallets or the boxes and they have to register to this queue. I also advise to contact the carrier you are using to ask about the shipment.

Hey guys,
Ok - My products are finally through inbound and some have made their way to available. This may or may not help, but what is interesting is that I waited for over 2 weeks for products that went to amazon via freight forwarder. However another product I sell, I sent myself from my home via UPS, which took 4 days.
Do UPS have an advantage over other Freight services in terms of quickness in stock turnaround?

With this kind of business it is unlikely that anyone can be given a time period that items will be checked in . It really depends on the number of inbound deliveries , the number of staff available at the time , whether all equipment is operational .
There are just too many variables . As the number of sellers on Amazon grow daily , the more likely this time period will stretch even further .
