SSA (Shipping setting automation) preferences being over ruled by product level shipping preferences
Amazon has made some type of change that allows "product level shipping preferences to override the preferences in our shipping template. We do have SSA turned on and all of the services that we want to use in our preferences. We also have them sorted in the order that we'd like them to be used. We have tried all 4 of the shipping service priority choices, and none of them are working. Amazon is promising much faster delivery times than we can afford on these products. Saying that since we have shipped these items to these zones in the past using a faster service, they are using that service for the promise. For example, we upgraded someone to 2-day air because it was a higher value order, and now they always use 2-day air for the delivery promise to that zone. When I am selecting the preferences, I have this banner at the top:
For products you previously shipped.
Your delivery promise will be automatically calculated based on the shipping services you previously used in different shipping zones. Learn more
For products never shipped to a buyer's shipping zone:
Your delivery promise will be calculated based on the shipping service rules configured below.
The problem is, I want to use the settings that I am choosing and Amazon is overriding them because of past shipments. And there is no way to adjust the delivery promise from the product side.
Is anyone else fighting with this issue? Any advise on what I can do would be greatly appreciated!
