Sick of Amazon and scammers

Sick and tired of Amazon, especially Amazon.es

Two AtoZ today, both for expensive helmets, both to Spain.

Tracking uploaded when sent, proof of delivery obtained, Amazon refunded both buyers instantly, I’ve not been given the chance to defend myself. Case opened = case closed in the buyers favour.

£500 lost in one day, no protection from Amazon

I switched off Amazon.es and Amazon.it today, too many scammers, no protection.

You must appeal this with .es maybe they’ll fund it.

Use Google translate so that you can do so in Spanish.
Add the original English as well.

I can’t offer any more - except my sympathy - as I’ve never been in this situation.

There’s loads on the Forum as to how to appeal.

Good luck.

Thanlks for your reply but I fear it’d just be a waste of time, I only get 2-3 AtoZ a year on .co.uk and I think I’ve won one AtoZ in 10 years, Amazon always sides with the buyer, even with tracking, GPS and signatures. I’m fighting one at the moment that even has photos of the item on the buyers doorstep, Amazon are just not interested. It’s a Scammers paradise.

I’ve never won an AtoZ with any overseas Amazon and I always translate first, they look after their respective countries buyers primarily.

I’ll be expecting a phone call or email from Amazon in the next few days asking me why I’m not selling in europe any more

who is the carrier you used to send the goods?
If its a well known carrier and you have a signature then you must appeal this with Amazon Spain.
They will take your appeal in english

DPD

No signatures due to Corona which is how the scammers are getting away with it

Ok, so I now have proof of signatures from DPD/SEUR but I cannot upload them to Amazon, what a great system, they want proof but give you no way to show said proof.

I have the same thing with Italy (always a hopeless postal service at the best of times). Italians feigning that my item is the first time they have ever had a delay with receiving something. And I agree with you, an appeal is a waste of more time. Amazon appears to have no intention of giving up exploiting sellers with this. The law needs to change on this. There is hope - at least for countries in the EU!

Totally agree, turned Italy off a long time ago, should have turned Spain off as well at the same time, more fool me.

Very few problems with .de and .fr except the Germans tend to be especially fond of returning items but at least they are easy/pleasant to deal with.

I have found .es to be as difficult as possible, they don’t reply to messages and will then file an AtoZ, it’s almost like thay have a step-by-step playbook to get their money back and keep the item and it’s almost impossible to counter.

For instance I have proof of delivery for these two amazon.es AtoZ claims but no way of uploading it to the case, you’d almost think Amazon do everything possible to stop you from defending yourself.

This is dreadful, I am sorry to hear that. I think no one has ever challenged them people tend to give up on the first hurdle hence the reason why they are getting away with giving other people stock for free. Don’t give up fight for your money and item as it’s not fair. I had a Spanish one trying this on me recently he did not get far with his scam. I am also sure these are either sellers on this forum and disgruntled sellers trying to wield their revenge on the vulnerable sellers. Fight to the end even if you must escalate to the top do it.
