Separate account in Germany
Hi Everyone,
I have a question for all experienced amazon sellers regarding a separate account in Germany. I am selling on amazon UK but due to the UK is not part of the EU we have to go through all the hassle of getting VAT in all EU countries. I have got residence permit in Germany so what would you suggest me in terms of doing business with the EU, should I open a separate Amazon account in Germany and sell through that account in EU or should I register for VAT in each EU country and sell through Amazon UK? I would very much appreciate for your suggestions and comments.

Opening a separate account would be the best thing to do however you must get permission from Amazon first That way you can keep your UK account separate and you’ll have a lot less headaches along the way. If you have residence in DE, it should be a fairly straightforward process.

Hi, I got your point, what do you think is the best option? open a separate company in Germany or just register for VAT number in Germany through UK company and then store goods in there. Thanks
